Play is a universal pastime. It is instinctive and fundamental to our existence, it helps us survive and thrive by connecting us to others. It creates a bond and transcends boundaries like language, age and culture, even species. Play develops imagination and problem-solving abilities. It simultaneously evokes calmness and relaxation, as well as a source of stimulation - Sam Wall
